I wanted to check in with Rebecca Harding for an update on how preparations for the summit are going, so it seemed a good chance to try out a Skype call with Call Recorder. I think it worked pretty well, and you'll see that I heard there's like to be about 250 people on Friday with an enormous range of different interests. What keeps people awake at nights? Apparently football - as well as some larger problems.

Really excited about the open space - hope you and Steve B and Nick Jankel are in touch!
In all the debate about the future of capitalism, there's been little coverage of entrepreneurs, or more particularly a new breed of entrepreneurs coming through who want to make a profit, but equally want to use that profit for social or environmental gain. Yet already emerging from the survey of WES attendees is a very real sense that there are business opportunities in re-modelling capitalism around more socially and environmentally sustainabl... Results from a major survey of 1800 growth-oriented entrepreneurs that will be presented at WES on the 20th March suggest that women entrepreneurs are less fazed by recessionary pressures than men. Nearly two thirds of men are worried about the macroeconomic climate compared to just over 50% of women, and men are also more likely to be worrying about their credit profile, about cashflow, profitability, sales, managing teams and accessing finance ... We are so excited that Kaospilots are working with us at WES this year and looking forward to a great year ahead making Kaospilots UK happen!
Team 2 of KaosPilots Netherlands will go on outpost next year. We are looking for an exciting part of the world with an extremely challenging project to work on. The idea is to take our Social Entrepreneurship school into a new socio-economic and cultural context. If you think you have a project that could qualify please share. What elements do you think a project that makes a change in the world should have?
Hi Oli
David Wilcox and I are working up a story and twitter about young people. Are they throwing off the rigid business models of their parents and chosing to select more socially/environmentally sustainable approaches to entrepreneurship? Is this a themes we will see in the extravaganza or the youth panel do you think?

This moment in time is the greatest opportunity to make a difference. I'm passionate about giving business the jump start to think differently about it's future. I use visualization, co-creation and structured dialog to give confidence and respect back to the enterprise.I'm keen to know what you think you can add to how they do that.
